Hello, I am Emma!

I have had a gloriously squiggly career, starting in pharmaceutical sales, then training as a Speech Language Therapist. After a short and sweet affair with the NHS, I became Operations Director in a successful event business, before finding my true passion and training as Voice Coach at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Having worked in the public and private sectors, incorporate and in start-ups, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to help women, like your, raise your visibility and credibility at work. I do that through helping you find and use your authentic voice as well as helping you cultivate thoughtful leadership, so that you can earn respect for your expertise, gain recognition for all your hard work and be rewarded (with pay and promotion!) for your results.

When I am away from my desk you will find me at the beach with the kids and the dog, messing about in the sea, or swinging in my garden chair with nose in a good book. I bake an incredible chocolate cake but am allergic to the stuff! I discovered I was dyslexic when I was 46 and it was such a relief. The highest place in the world I have ever been is Machu Picchu in Peru.

For me, grace represents a respectful, feminine energy that holds just the right amount of space. It’s the ability to listen and speak with equal measure in a confident, collaborative manner. By leading with grace, I demonstrate to other women my authentic way of communicating and setting boundaries to help them find and strengthen theirs.

Make A Difference

Through programmes, coaching, bursaries and speaking, I strive to make a difference to women’s lives the world over. I aim to help women find grace and compassion for themselves, and to discover their confidence to share their expertise comfortably and credibly with their colleagues and communities.

Mastery Over Perfection

I teach and embody mastery over perfection. Though I strive for excellence in all areas of my business, I accept that to be human is to be imperfect. Prioritising mastery over perfection allows us to be present whilst aiming for continual improvements every day. This goes for our business, our clients and their communications too: be present, not perfect.

Provide the Tools for Life

With an emphasis on practicality, all of my teaching has been designed to be applied in the real world, where things are always a bit messy. Every woman I work with develops her own toolkit of resources to draw upon whenever life delivers new challenges, so she can be resent and compassionate even under times of stress.
